IP Address Whitelisting [3/18/2012]

You asked. We delivered. Introducing the all-new IP address white-listing.

Available now in Dome9 Central, the new IP address white-listing lets you specify an IP address or CIDR that are authorized to connect to any port on your server(s).

How does it work? Simply select a Security Group under the Policy Management tab in Dome9 Central and add an "Allowed IP Addresses (White-List)" in the labeled section. Any cloud server that’s attached to that Security Group will allow the trusted IP(s) to connect on any port.

IP address white-listing is ideal if you, your service provider, or a trusted application must intermittently acquire a secure connection to your cloud server. Any IP address not whitelisted is subject to the secure access policies you've set within Dome9.
